Keeping your truck loaded at all times can be difficult. US Auto Dispatch takes the time to keep looking for orders to keep your truck full. This frees up time for you to keep driving, loading or unloading, or something that is just as important........sleeping.
Many times, when we call for orders, brokers are not there so we have to leave a message. But instead of waiting for them to call back, we make several more calls, as a lot of brokers don't give out their orders to those who necessarily called in first. They give them to the next real call that they receive. A little unfair, but we've noticed that to be a fact. We also follow-up with faxes to the brokers to try to get their attention.
Setting up with new brokers can be time consuming.........receiving their faxes to fill out, calling insurance companies to send certificates of insurance and more.
Once the order has been delivered, there can be invoices that have to be created and faxed to the brokers so you can get paid. Then there's keeping track of when these invoices are paid so they can be marked off on your spreadsheet. Sometimes, follow-up calls have to be made to the brokers to check on when payment was sent out.
We set up a spreadsheet with all your orders. You can request a copy of this to be sent to you by email at any time to see what you've been doing overall. This shows each order you've received, from what broker, date you picked up and delivered, what it pays, whether it's a COD or invoice, when you received payment (if it's an invoice) and more.
We also follow up to get you positive ratings for your company!
